School is officially back in session, summer is officially over, and I am officially missing it. (Despite the fact that spring and fall are my favorites.) With school back in swing, I am officially stressed round the clock, trying to catch up. One of my favorite things to do at the end of summer is go back to school shopping! Now, I go to school online so my school supplies haul is a little different that if I was in public school, but I still enjoy school shopping. (P.S. Switching to an online school was the best choice ever, let me know if you guys have any questions or want blog posts on the topic!) Anyways, I thought it would be fun to share what school supplies I purchased, so without further rambling, here is my 2017 school supplies haul!
First up, are my favorite highlighters. They’re by Sharpie, and they’re great! I mostly use highlighters for highlighting key concepts in textbooks, but I love buying a multi pack, because I am obsessed with color coding!
I got 2 packs of filler paper, because I always need it to take notes, or write out math problems. I purchased 2 packs of college ruled paper, from target!
This is my graphing calculator. Apparently i’m going to need it this year for math. Hip Hip Hooray. (I hate math.) Definitely not looking forward to having to use this thing, but oh well. Life goes on I guess.
It’d be pretty hard to get through school with notebooks, here are mine! They are super plain and boring, and I plan to decorate them soon!
My erasers are from office depot, and my glue is by elmers. The erasers are simply to erase my (many) mistakes, but the glue is for a diy project I have in mind, coming very soon, so stay tuned! 😉
Online school is self paced, so that means its up to me to do all the planning of when everything will get done. These tabs are super helpful for me, and make it ten times easier to break down what i’m doing every month, every week, and every day. (Plus, there is a tab for every color of the rainbow!) I can plan out all my assignments, and everything is clean and organized. These tabs are from office max, and I highly recommend them!
These binder clips are from Walmart and from target. (The gold ones are the target ones.) I like the gold ones best, but the ones from Walmart are much bigger. I use binder clips all the time for clipping assignments/handouts together so I can keep everything organized.
I keep these BIC pens on hand, just in case I need a pen in a pinch, although they aren’t my favorite. (I just bought them because they were a quarter.) However, these mechanical pencils are LEGIT my favorite mechanical pencils EVER! They have nice thick lead, come in cute colors and (most importantly) have the best grip and are the most comfortable to write with ever! I can write for long periods of time with these without my hand cramping, unlike so many other pencils!
These pens are by BIC and I like them a lot more than the ones above. They write quite smoothly and nicely. I typically use them for math, and for writing notes. Also, for some weird reason, my handwriting always looks its best when I write with these. No clue why, but I’m not complaining.
Post-its and note cards are a must for students! I love post its for marking my place in my textbook and for jotting down page numbers, and I love using note cards to turn into flashcards, which I then turn into a game of memory, to learn all my terms/key concepts!
These pens are by Pilot, they are fine tipped, and I really like them. They write quite nicely, come in a decent variety of colors, and don’t leak or bleed. Overall i’m impressed.
That’s everything! Hope you enjoyed seeing everything I purchased, and that it helps get you even just a little more pumped for school. What are some of your back to school must haves? Let me know in the comments below!
