It’s August, and that means it’s back to school season! If you’re anything like me, that means you have to go back to school, and back to school means cute new school supplies; including cute new planners! So today I thought it’d be fun to share a post about my favorite planners! (Also, this post is not sponsored, these are all planners I own and use, and purchased with my own money!)
My Favorite Planners:
Mini Create 365 Planner
My first planner is my mini create 365 planner! I love this planner so much, all the pages inside are so cute! It’s very colorful, very cute, and very classy. It’s a smaller size than my main create 365 planner, which makes it a lot easier to throw into my purse or backpack. I mostly use this one to plan out my editorial calendar for my blog posts, but I also throw in other important dates and appointments I can’t forget about.
This is my main “cute, but great for on the go planner.” Jotting everything down saves me lots of time in the long run! This planner features a page at the beginning of each month where you can write out your goals, reminders, birthdays to remember, and other special events you can’t forget. Then there is a monthly spread, and then there are pages for each week, allowing you to plan what you want to get done in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
If you want to jazz up your planner game even more, I recommend getting lots and lots of planner inserts, stickers, and washi tape! Decorating your planner is so much fun, and I could talk for hours about it, but i’ll save that post for another day. 🙂

This is what the weekly planning pages look like – aren’t they just darling! (colors vary by planner and month.)
High school planner
This is the planner I use to plan everything for my schoolwork. It’s a 4 year planner, so it’s perfect for high school! I’ve been tracking my journey using this planner since 2015. It also has monthly and weekly spreads, and well as planning pages for every semester. Letting you plan what you want to accomplish, what you want to learn, what you’ve learned this past semester, what you’re thankful for, what your academic and personal goals are, what books you’ve read, and a boatload of other things!
I will usually sit down at the beginning of each week and write down all the birthdays, anniversaries, any trips, appointments, dates, etc. Then I will plan out what school work I want to get done every month, and then break it up and plan it all into the following weeks. This planner is super handy, and I use it all the time. And while it’s not as cute as the other ones, and I sometimes forget to write down the fun things, and mostly write down school related stuff, it’s still very practical and useful in organizing my homework!
These fun pages help me plan the school year
Blog planning notebook
The third of my favorite planners is my blogging notebook! My image is not doing this notebook justice! This is my blogging notebook, and it is so so cute! I saw this at target and snapped it up for only $2.50! It’s so cute, and it works perfectly! I use this to plan lots of blog related things, including my blogging goals, blog to do lists, blog post ideas, etc.
You might be wondering why there are a bunch of plain boring notebooks in a “my favorite planners” post. But I think there is nothing wrong with occasionally not using anything fancy, and just using a good old fashioned, plain notebook! I’ll often plan projects and then dedicate a notebook to each project. I prefer college ruled notebooks, but I found a good deal on these and they were wide ruled; so I went ahead and snapped them up anyways. I love plain cheap notebooks for when I need something in a pinch!
This is my blogging binder! I use it for all sorts of things. Including weekly and daily blog task checklists, post idea brainstorming, password trackers, expense trackers, copies of analytics, blogging articles, post ideas, hosting and theme info, lists of bloggers and brands I want to feature or collaborate with, ideas for future projects, and lots more!
Create 365 planner
The last of my favorite planners is my full size create 365 planner, and it is simply gorgeous! Featuring a full page layout, lots of room to plan and write, monthly goal planning pages, monthly and weekly page spreads, note sections, and lots more, this planner is so cute, yet so functional! It’s just the best thing ever, and I love it to death, I don’t know what I would do without it! This is my “main” planner. However, I don’t usually take it on the go with me, (simply because it’s rather big and bulky.)
EVERYTHING goes into this planner. You name it, it’s scheduled in here. Whether it be blog posts, blog deadlines, to do’s, birthday’s, anniversaries, doctor, orthodontist and dentist appointments, parties, gatherings, exams, dates, etc. It all goes into this planner first, and then the other stuff gets copied into the other planners. It is such a lifesaver. And call me an emotional wreck, but I would probably cry if I were to lose it!
Also, I really love color coding in my planners! I could write a whole post on my color coding system, but for now I would say that if you want to color code, you should pick your 3 favorite colors, and use one for school, one for work, and one for social outings! So to further explain, were going to say your three colors are blue, pink, and green. Write anything work related in blue, anything school related in green, and any kind of social event in pink!
I love how at the beginning of each month there is a page where I can sit down and jot down important dates, birthdays to remember, monthly goals, and what i’m currently reading, planning, watching, cooking, eating, drinking, pinning, crafting, going/travelling, loving, dreaming, feeling, listening, and celebrating. It’s so fun to fill these out every month, and it’s even more fun to flip back through the previous months and see everything I was obsessed with the past year.
This planner is the one I would recommend to you if you are looking for a great new planner, these planners are well worth the investment, and they are definitely one of my favorite planners! I bought mine at Michael’s, (Use a coupon, as they are a bit on the pricier side!) or I’ve seen really cool kits including inserts, stickers, pens, washi tape, the works, at Costco!
