FUN THINGS TO DO:

Chesterfield Aquatic Center:

Chesterfield has one of my favorite aquatic centers! Visiting is definitely one of my favorite things to do in St. Louis Missouri because this one is awesome! You start with the “main pool” which has a mini whirlpool, mini lazy river, mini playground in 2ft. of water for kids, and a bigger slide for older kids (slide is about as tall as the average house.) Water goes to about 5 feet in the “main pool”

Then there’s the lazy river! It’s huge and has lots of floats, plus a loop in the middle you can just relax in. Then there’s the “deep pool” half the pool is 5-6 feet, the other half is 12 ft, with diving boards! This pool also has a “lap swim” lane.

Finally, there’s the slide pool! These slides are HUGE!!! It take you five minutes just to walk up the stairs to get to the top! There’s two huge slides, one that’s uncovered, and once that’s covered. (I’ve ridden both, and the uncovered does have little lights lining it, but they are by no means bright enough to see anything with.) You then land in a circular pool. It’s awesome, and I love all the slides!

If you get hungry, there’s a concession stand where you can buy food such as ice cream, hot dogs, soda, chips, fries, mozzarella sticks, pretzel’s, and lots of other goodies!

Overall the pool is great! It’s huge, there’s plenty of space, lots of lifeguards, the pool is kept clean, the food is pretty good, etc.

Price Range:

Low ($8 per person for non resident’s, slightly lower for residents.)

I had to walk all the way to the top of the slides to get shots, and then walk all the way back down. I couldn’t slide down, because my camera isn’t waterproof 🙁

The fountain/lake/super fun place (that doesn’t have an official title…) where you can feed swans and ducks!

Another one of my favorite things to do in St. Louis Missouri is to visit the lake! The lake is this super fun place with a huge fountain and lots of birds! It’s a great spot for taking photos! Or for laying out in the sun to read a book, go on your phone or do your homework! The scenery surrounding it is also beautiful, with lots of trees, and such. The lake has ducks and swans and they usually come up to you if you call from the balcony! They have machines where you can stick quarters in and feed them. The machines are sometimes out though, so if you really want to feed them, i’d recommend bringing some bread or something. It’s a great spot to just hang out when you have a little time to kill, and want to be outdoors, and be within walking distance of whole foods, target, first watch, and a whole bunch of other stores!

This little guy saw me snapping pictures and came right over! The machine was out of food, and I felt bad. So I went and got some nice whole grain toast from my breakfast (we were at first watch) & crumbled it up, but he wouldn’t eat it! Yeesh these birds are picky!

Sky Zone

Sky Zone is this really cool indoor trampoline park! It’s kind of an upgraded, teen/adult orientated version of BounceU or PumpItUp. It features a basketball area, a dodge ball room, an individual high jump, & the normal “trampoline pod” part. You’ll need to purchase sky socks to jump & if you’re under 18, you’ll need a parent to sign a waiver for you to jump. You can fill out waivers online ahead of time. You can buy a pass for 30 minutes or for an hour. 30 minutes is typically $9 & an hour is typically $13, but prices may vary by location.

PLACES TO EAT:

First Watch

One of my favorite things to do in St. Louis Missouri is check out the awesome food! First Watch is a cute little breakfast/lunch/ brunch spot. It’s a little fancier than Ihop, and a lot fancier than McDonalds. They have lots of great food, and lots of healthy breakfast and lunch options that other retailers like McDonalds & Ihop & Waffle House don’t really have. First Watch serves pancakes, waffles, omelette’s, hashes (their hashes are my favorite!) soups, sandwiches, smoothies, and lots more! There food is absolutely delicious, and i’m sure that you’ll love it! This place is perfect for a family breakfast, brunch with your girlfriends or a casual lunch out with your relatives. And it should absolutely be on your list of “things to do in St. Louis Missouri.”

Price Range:

Medium (your going to pay a little more than you usually would for breakfast, but the food is worth every penny!)

My FAVORITE hash! This is the farmhouse hash! I substituted sausage for bacon (I hate bacon.) and the rest is avocado, egg, potatoes, tomatoes, cheddar and monterrey jack cheese, and potatoes. It tastes SOOOO good!!!

Panera Bread

Going out to lunch or dinner at Panera Bread is totally one of my favorite things to do in St. Louis Missouri! Panera Bread (also known as St. Louis Bread Co) is this delicious soup and sandwich place. Their sandwiches, soups, and salads are all so so good! The food tastes real, and fresh, and I couldn’t recommend this place more to you! It’s perfect for a nice lunch or a casual dinner. You can dress casual or if you want to, you can dress up. It’s completely up to you. They also have a wide variety of desserts, as well as scones, croissants and bagels for breakfast. All the food is served in super cute (at least in my opinion) dishware that you’ll be sad you can’t take home. My personal favorite thing to get is their macaroni and cheese. I make ALL my friends try it, when they go. It’s creamy and rich and unlike any other macaroni and cheese you’ve ever tasted. It is SO delicious; i’d eat it every day if I could!!

Medium (you are going to pay a bit more than you would if having lunch at McDonalds Think about $10-$13 per person for most people, including their meal, side, and drink.)
